About Me
Hello! Brenda Benson-Okey is a UX/UI designer and a freelance illustrator and based in Texas. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BA in Communication Arts. She specializes in building user interfaces and graphic designs for clients, but she's also versatile in various other mediums such as character designing and 3D modeling. She's always learning something new! Her goal is to entertain, design, and continue growing as an artist.
As a kid, her artistic journey started with her being an avid gamer. She loves fighting games like Super Smash Brothers and Tekken and JRPGs like Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy. Video games were the catalyst for her pursuing a career in art.
She also knows C++ programming and web design. On her down time, she regularly attends art shows and fan conventions doing cosplays of her favorite characters. If she's not out and about, she's at home reading a good classic novel and playing Overwatch 2 or Final Fantasy XIV.
